Welcome
to the BFC East Side chapter
website for Bikers
Fighting Cancer.
Established
in 2002 with seven
founding members, the Bikers
Fighting Cancer organization has
grown yearly, and we have set a goal
to double our membership by the end
of this year. We are proud to say
that all members are unpaid and we
donate our time and efforts to forward
the cause to help children with cancer.
Our work is a labor of love, dedicated to helping the children, and we invite
all like-minded individuals to join
our group.
We will welcome you with open arms, as would the children.
Bikers Fighting
Cancer was established by
an 11 year old boy, Ray, and 49 year
old Patrick Healy. Both were fighting
for their lives. Ray told Pat when
he grew older he wanted to ride and
belong to a bike club. Pat suggested
to Ray that they should start their
own club now.
"The patch
was designed by a child and worn
by two of the bravest children I
have ever met. This symbol will remain
until a cure is found and no more
children suffer. As Ray told me We
are banning the Reaper" -
Pat Healy, BFC Founder |
